Natural facial care with home remedies - without expensive cosmetics

The ingredients lists of conventional skincare products are long, and if we are not aware, that was the best option. But natural skincare is a process by which we can care about our skin level best. For that, I think we can follow the points below:

1. sodium bicarbonate facial tonic for gentle cleansing

Sodium bicarbonate can be used for body care in many ways and should therefore not be missing in any bathroom. The perfect home remedy neutralizes acids, activates the skin's natural reformatting mechanism, and has a gentle cleansing action. It is, therefore, ideal for washing facial skin. In order not to have to stir it fresh for each cleansing, you can make a small supply of mild soda-facial water from three tablespoons of soda and one liter of water. For cleaning, put some of the soda water on a damp washcloth and wash your face with it as usual. This application is suitable for all skin types and is also recommended for sensitive skin.

2. Natural Facial Toner with Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is a pure wonder drug for the skin. I like to use it instead of tonic and make-up remover. Dilute the vinegar in a ratio of 1: 1 with water. Apply the mixture as usual on a cosmetic pad and rub your face with gentle pressure.

3. Instead of micro-plastics natural exfoliation with oil and salt.

Many industrially produced exfoliation products that harm people and the environment because they contain dangerous micro-plastics. You can easily do without it by making yourself a natural exfoliation. You only need two ingredients for this: high-quality vegetable oil sea salt (alternative sugar) Put both parts in a screw-top jar to make a thick porridge and shake vigorously - that's all. The exfoliation lasts several weeks. The salt contained in the peeling has a disinfecting effect and gently removes dead skin cells. The oil protects the skin and makes it tender. Depending on skin type, different oils are suitable. For dry, healthy skin, olive oil is the right choice that you probably have at home anyway. If you are prone to blemishes or skin irritation, better take poppy or almond oil.

4. Fresh face skin with lemon peel

To refresh your face after cleansing, you can use the squeezed shells of organic lemons instead of face lotion. Just rub it with the inside of the bowl over the face and then rinse the skin with cold water. Lemon peels are rich in vitamin C, which has a disinfecting effect. Besides, the rough surface of the shell has a slight exfoliating effect and removes excess fat from the skin, which is why this freshness kick is particularly suitable for impure and slightly greasy skin.

5. Facial care with high-quality vegetable oils

To care for your skin after cleansing and to provide you with essential nutrients, you can use rich, vegetable oils instead of creams. I like to use almond or coconut oil, which are both very good for sensitive or blemish-prone skin. Besides, they leave a pleasant scent. If you are more prone to dry skin, you can resort to a high-quality olive oil. In principle: Always apply the oil to damp skin or mix with a little water before use. This forms an emulsion, and the oil penetrates optimally into the skin. This avoids that an oily film remains on the surface. Which oil suits you best, you can find out best by trying out.

6. Moisturizing with Aloe Vera

The gel of the Aloe Vera plant is used in many care products due to its moisturizing, soothing properties. Instead of buying expensive cosmetics, you can apply the fresh gel of the leaves directly to the facial skin and gently massage in. Natural aloe vera gel is perfect as a light day cream or as an after-sun lotion. If you have a sunburn, you can use Aloe Vera to make cool envelopes in a few easy steps. Harvest a few leaves and put them in a glass with the cut surface down for an hour so that the contained aloin can drain away. Otherwise, it could lead to skin irritations. Peel the leaf and place on the affected skin. This procedure probably saved my life in Africa. Just give it a try - there are many ways to care for your facial skin with natural remedies that support the skin's regeneration process.
